The UN World Food Programme (WFP) is currently replenishing its roster of Conference Staff for daily assignments and we are seeking talented university students to join our team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Current BA/MA student;
- Hold a C1-level English certification (IELTS or Cambridge), as English is the primary working language;
- Proficiency in a second UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish, or Russian) is highly valued;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams).
Key Requirements
- Background or strong interest in international relations and the UN system;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities;
- Ability to multitask and take initiative;
- Experience working under pressure;
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Interest in learning diplomatic protocol;
- Technical proficiency in virtual meeting platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage conference materials for participants and interpreters;
- Assist with meeting room setup and management;
- Support smooth execution of in person and virtual meeting;
- Greet and assist participants;
- Provide logistical support;
- Communicate effectively with participants, including WFP staff and country representatives;
- Adapt to schedule changes as needed.
