The American Embassy of Rome is evaluating candidates for internship positions available in the Summer Session, running from June 8 thru November 30, 2026. Dates are fixed, please refrain from applying if you are not available throughout the entire period.
The positions will be within various and different offices under Management, the Consular Section, and other Agencies providing different services.
The ideal candidate will have a very good level of both English and Italian – both spoken and written – and will be available to intern on a part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week – Monday thru Friday) from June 8 thru November 30, 2026.
The Office of Human Resources will receive applications only from UNINT and will eventually contact qualified candidates to provide details on the various internship opportunities and to answer any question you might have.
Each selected intern will need to obtain a security certification from the Regional Security Office to start. Once a student is selected, the Office of Human Resources will initiate the security certification process.
All interested students should apply through UNINT providing an updated CV/Resume in English and a brief cover letter. The deadline to apply is February 19, 2026.
