Il University quality control (PQA), pursuant to art. 21 of the Statute, is established by rectoral decree. The person in charge, appointed by the rector, is currently the Vice Rector for quality assurance. The role of the PQA is defined in accordance with the provisions in force regarding self-evaluation, periodic evaluation and accreditation of university locations and courses of study. In particular, the PQA coordinates and supports the quality assurance procedures, inherent to the teaching, research and third mission/social impact activities of the University and organizes information flows to and from the Evaluation Unit and the joint teacher-student commissions. The person in charge of the PQA, together with the members who compose it, is the promoter of initiatives aimed at mutual exchange of opinions and experiences between the bodies and institutes involved in the quality assurance process, as well as training and awareness meetings for teaching and technical-administrative staff, with quality assurance as their theme. The PQA draws up an annual report on the activity carried out, even if not expressly required by law. The report is disseminated to the governing bodies and quality bodies, and uploaded to the University's own cloud. The Quality Committee meets regularly throughout the year, usually every two months. The minutes of the meetings are sent to the rector and the members of the Evaluation Team and uploaded to the University owncloud.
