Evaluation Unit

The Evaluation Unit, pursuant to Art. 19 of the University Statute, is a body endowed with operational autonomy which has the task of evaluating the administrative management, teaching, research and third mission/social impact activities and interventions to support the right to study undertaken by UNINT.

The Evaluation Unit has the function of monitoring the Quality Assurance System adopted by UNINT for the purpose of identifying any areas for improvement; to this end, it formulates recommendations and draws up guidelines suitable for guaranteeing ever greater efficiency and effectiveness of the procedures undertaken.

The Evaluation Unit expresses an evaluation regarding the use of resources used in management actions by the structures responsible for teaching and research and regarding the quality and productivity of the research carried out within the University, or promoted by it.

Using also the indicators provided by ANVUR and the parameters approved by the Academic Senate, it monitors the adequacy of the training offer in relation to the levels and types of the Courses.

Every five years it carries out further evaluation activities regarding the functioning of the Courses and faculties, scheduling specific hearings when deemed appropriate.

The Evaluation Unit expresses a binding opinion to the Universityon the possession of the requirements for initial accreditation for the activation of new Courses. Furthermore, it draws up an annual report in which it reports on the results of the activities of verification of the functioning of the University QA System, on the activity of support to the governing bodies in monitoring the results achieved with respect to the indicators for the periodic evaluation, as well as on the development of additional indicators for the strategic planning of the University.

Meetings are normally held every two months.
