Journèes de la Francophonie à l'Unint 2025

Objectives

The initiative aims to raise awareness of Quebec and in particular its complex social structure, in which indigenous communities coexist with French-speaking ones; to raise awareness of artistic expressions that convey messages of identity and inclusion.

Actions

The initiative includes the creation of an event within the framework of the Journées de la Francophonie à l'Unint 2025, focused on audiovisual products (cinema and documentaries) on the theme of the Premières nations – indigenous communities, in continuity with the Journée presented in the academic year 2023/2024.
Participating in the initiative are: CISQ – Interuniversity Center for Quebec Studies, Délégation du Québec, Institut français Italia, Librairie Stendhal, AIEQ – Association internationale des études québécoises.

Impact

Raise awareness of social, sociolinguistic and sociocultural issues as fundamental tools for building peaceful, inclusive and sustainable community coexistence in mutual respect of specific cultural peculiarities.
