The University has joined "M’illumino di meno", the National Day for Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, created and promoted by Rai Radio2 with the programme "Caterpillar" and organised the event entitled “Sotto un’altra luce" (In a different light) which was held on 16 February 2023 in the University's Great Hall under the patronage of the Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS), of which the University is part. Starting at 18:30 pm, an entire University was switched off with the aim of raising awareness among students, lecturers and technical-administrative staff and citizens of their municipality on the need to rationalise energy resources. The event ended with an acoustic music concert made with instruments that do not need to use electricity and with a sustainable buffet, both by candlelight.
