Project funded by UNINT – Third Mission/Social Impact call (a.y. 2024/2025)
Responsible: Ciro Sbailò, Full Professor UNINT

Objectives

The general objective is to make geopolitical and international security issues accessible and understandable to a non-specialist audience, often inundated with information that is not always reliable or easy to interpret.

Actions

The project involves the organization of a series of events in local meeting places through which, using simple and clear language, complex geopolitical phenomena that have a significant impact on everyday life can be made understandable. Speakers at the meetings include UNINT students and professors specialized in geopolitics, external guests, citizens and young people involved in local associations. The creation of multimedia editorial products for dissemination purposes is also planned.

Impact

The project proposal aims to reach a transversal audience, spreading knowledge on crucial current affairs, geopolitics and global security issues in an understandable, inclusive and free way in order to build peaceful and sustainable communities, strengthening democratic institutions.
