Quality education is the basis for improving people's lives and achieving sustainable development.
Equitable and inclusive education, at every educational level, is based on learning opportunities for all with the aim of achieving suitable and effective primary education results, starting with that of language for migrants and refugees. In relation to Goal 4 of the UN Agenda 2030: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting learning opportunities for all is fundamental to guaranteeing the acquisition of knowledge and lifelong schooling capable of eliminating educational inequalities from the outset, starting with language inequalities, and thus promoting subsequent inclusive vacational training for those in fragile and vulnerable socio-economic conditions who are at risk of social exclusion. In this sense, the use of new technologies for learning, teaching and, more generally, for educational processes at various levels, online and in person, enables the formulation of specific and adequate programmes to achieve a concrete level of literacy (target 4.6) for full integration resulting from an "education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development" (target 4.7).
