Responsible: Stefania Cerrito, UNINT teacher

Objectives

As part of the organization of public events open to the community and the project "Here's to you! Rencontres BDquoises. Author of the BD between Quebec and Italy“, the initiative “Alleys and streets in Rome. The Bande Dessinée Québécoise”aims to delve into basic and scientific themes in a popular way relating to comics and Canadian comics, also in comparison with Italian comics. Among the objectives is to raise awareness of the art of comics and Quebec comics, as well as opening a dialogue on the social and existential themes presented in comics.

Actions

Organization of an exhibition, already presented at the Ducal Palace in Genoa and in Montreal, and divided in Rome across multiple locations, including the University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT from 20 June to 8 July 2023, and of two events: ( a) Alleys and ruelles à l'Unint: a promenade à travers la band dessinée francophone, on 22 June 2023 in the master's room and in live streaming starting from 10 am; and (b) Vicoli et ruelles à l'Unint: rencontres BDquoises, on 30 June 23 in the master room and live streaming starting at 2023am.

Impact

French-speaking in general. It is also an attractive element to create or strengthen the link between the University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT and the territory in its various realities.
