What is UNIMPRESA

An initiative to support the creation and development of entrepreneurial projects that know how to enhance the results of teaching and research through the formulation of innovative proposals with a high economic, social and sustainable development impact.

Who it’s for

Students or recent graduates of a UNINT bachelor's, master's, undergraduate or graduate degree programme.

What it's for

It provides support to those who wish to improve their spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship by accompanying them through the stages of conceiving and developing business ideas with a high economic and social value to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

When

From June 26th 2023 to September 24th 2023.

The Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma - UNINT develops and promotes, among other activities, guidance for the promotion of students’ "spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship" (Entrecomp) by offering support for the creation and development of business ideas in multidisciplinary teams. Selected business ideas will be accompanied on an incubation and acceleration path so that they can become innovative real businesses: start-ups. Such innovative businesses will be able to exploit the results of the research carried out in order to offer innovative solutions (services, products, etc.) that can respond to contemporary socio-economic, cultural and environmental needs and challenges.
The initiative, therefore, aims to select business ideas - proposed by entrepreneurial teams that intend to enhance the results of research and the use of knowledge to contribute to social, cultural and economic development through the creation of business projects.
 

Thus, UNINT promotes the creation and development of entrepreneurial initiatives in various contexts, including:

• digital export;
• emerging markets;
• human security.

Specifically, the business ideas selected will be able to take advantage of certain accompanying and support services (incubation and acceleration) in order to be able to develop the proposed business project while improving their "sense of initiative and entrepreneurship" (Entrecomp). 

The services offered by UNINT include:

• access to the spaces and equipment of the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma- UNINT;
• participation in thematic networks and sharing and networking events, both nationally and internationally;
• access to support, incubation and acceleration services for business start-ups through specially designed training activities;
• assistance in finding partners and/or investors in the business world.

The proposer of a business idea can be a student or recent graduate of the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma - UNINT.
Individuals from outside UNINT may also join the entrepreneurial team .

The Entrepreneurship Commission will select the best ideas, which will be taken through a training incubation process to become UNINT start-ups.
