Thanks to donations from benefactors, families, alumni, teachers, staff and organizations, the University supports young people in difficulty by providing scholarships and other financial benefits so that they do not give up on their studies and, consequently, on their right to happiness. Research shows that people with a high level of education are more likely to be happy, having more options, more opportunities and more tools to consciously direct their lives in the desired direction.

The University concretely implements the meritocratic principles which inspire its conduct through a system of determining fees which provides benefits, financed through its own funds, reserved for the most deserving students for each year of each degree course (top 10) on the basis of results of the previous year. In order to contribute to the valorization of young excellences and to participate in the process of social and cultural advancement of our country, the University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT promotes a dynamic dimension of studies and annually issues calls for the awarding of scholarships financed through its own funds and intended for students who have achieved good results in school and university and who have simultaneously acquired transversal skills by resourcefully expressing their talent thanks to significant extracurricular and internationalization experiences. The fields of activity examined for selection purposes to evaluate the previous extracurricular merit of the candidates are: volunteering, environmental sustainability, innovation, solidarity, social inclusion, participation in democratic life, sport practiced at a competitive level during his studies and art in its various forms of expression. All scholarships are renewable for the years following the first provided that merit in university studies continues to be accompanied by constant commitment to extracurricular activities on the basis of which the selection takes place.

Registration by Public Administration employees is guaranteed under favorable conditions also thanks to a memorandum of understanding signed by the University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT and the Department of Public Function of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Facilitated conditions are also guaranteed to cohabitants of employees of the affiliated ministries.

The University provides n. 44 scholarships to fully and partially cover the enrollment fee for executive masters. In the event that the applications received are greater than the number of scholarships available, the University activates a selective procedure for the assignment of contributions.

Among the initiatives that the University has implemented on the solidarity front are: one collection for the homeless to deal with the cold emergency in collaboration with the Community of Sant'Egidio, blood collections in collaboration with Avis Roma, collections of food and basic necessitiescollection of books and toys for Ukrainian children fleeing the war, as well as the activation by the University Language Center of free Italian courses for Ukrainians and, in collaboration with the non-profit association Nove Onlus, for Afghans.

“Telethon 2023” fundraiser

The University of International Studies of Rome – UNINT has launched, in collaboration with BNP Paribas, a fundraiser at its headquarters in the occasion of the December 2023 marathon. During the fundraiser, it was possible to purchase chocolate hearts and other Christmas specialties. The funds raised were donated to the Telethon Foundation.

“Art for inclusion” fundraiser

The University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT has launched, in collaboration with the Association of parents and people with autism "My World Exists", a fundraiser in favor of the association "My world exists" by exhibiting a selection of the works created by the participants in the specialization course for support activities for pupils with disabilities - VII Cycle for the creation of a multipurpose center for children and young people with disorders belonging to the autistic spectrum.

UNINT fundraising to support people affected by the flood in Emilia Romagna

The University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT has started a fundraiser whose proceeds will be used to support people affected by the flood in Emilia Romagna. The idea of ​​starting a fundraiser came from our students and was positively received by our University. To contribute to the fundraising it is possible to donate by bank transfer to be paid into the bank account IBAN: IT19Y0100503224000000003892 dedicated for this purpose, made out to "Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma", with reason for "Emilia Romagna flood fundraising". The entire proceeds will be donated to the Italian Red Cross with the same reason.

UNINT fundraising to support the populations affected by the earthquake in Syria and Türkiye

The University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT has started a fundraiser whose proceeds will be used to support the populations affected by the earthquake on the border between Syria and Turkey.

The idea of ​​starting a fundraiser came from our students and was positively welcomed by the Board of Directors of our University. To contribute to the fundraising it is possible to donate by bank transfer to be made with a payment to the bank account IBAN: IT19Y0100503224000000003892 dedicated for this purpose, made out to "University of International Studies of Rome", with reason for "Turkey/Syria earthquake fundraising". The entire proceeds will be donated to the Italian Red Cross, close to the affected populations and to the rescuers of the Turkish and Syrian Red Crescents, operational from the first moments to respond to urgent humanitarian needs. From the beginning of the emergency, first aid, health care, social assistance and psychological support services were activated.

UNINT fundraising vs COVID-19

The University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT carried out a fundraiser whose proceeds were allocated to the "Lazzaro Spallanzani" National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Rome for the purchase of equipment for the diagnosis and care of infected patients , as well as supplies of medical materials necessary to facilitate the hard work of doctors and nurses who faced the disease on the front lines. Concrete support for the fight against the disease manifested in a situation in which closeness and national unity reminded us that a donation, large or small, can make a difference and save someone's life. The “Lazzaro Spallanzani” National Institute for Infectious Diseases, absolute excellence in the Italian healthcare panorama, has always been at the forefront of the fight against infectious diseases and, thanks to the support of the University of International Studies of Rome – UNINT, has thus been able to count on one more ally to fight the epidemic Coronavirus, also considering the institutional mission of the University which has always been committed to the development and diffusion of culture, science and education. The idea of ​​starting a fundraiser came from our students: “We can be decisive: responsible behavior and a small donation can make the difference. It doesn't take much. United we will make it" the invitation they extended to the entire university community - teachers, students and technical-administrative staff - to make their contribution through a donation to support the Spallanzani Institute on the front line in the fight against the virus. The entire proceeds, equal to €4896,93, were donated to the “Lazzaro Spallanzani” National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Rome.

Partnerships allow the University to gather stimuli from the external context and to pursue networking goals with those who believe in the values ​​of the University and in the potential of study and research. This objective is pursued through joint actions including the frequent organization of testimonies by experts in the sectors under study and the promotion of joint teaching, research and third mission-social impact projects.

The University organises, in collaboration with sponsors and patrons, events and training initiatives within both study courses and higher education. Each joint initiative involves collaboration with sponsors and patrons to define an effective communication strategy.
