UNINT Sport 2025/2026

UNINT Sport is an initiative promoted within the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT) that was created with the aim of encouraging sports practice among students, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the sense of belonging to the university community.

The new edition of the project aims to consolidate what has been achieved so far, introducing two important innovations.

1. Relaunch of the women's five-a-side football team: For the third time, the UNINT Sport project will feature a women's five-a-side soccer team, returning to the field after a year-long hiatus. The resumption of this activity confirms the project's commitment to promoting female participation in university sports, emphasizing the principles of inclusion, equal opportunity, and representation within the academic community.
   The team will participate in university tournaments, helping to strengthen the University's sporting profile and offering students a concrete opportunity for social interaction and personal growth.
2. Constitution of theUNINT SPORT Amateur Sports Association: the company was recently formally establishedA.S.D. UNINT SPORT, with the aim of providing a more solid, organized and continuous structure to the UNINT Sport project.
   In this new structure, the university team represents the ASD's sports breeding ground, serving as a hub for the growth and development of athletes within the student community.

Starting from the 2025/2026 sporting season, theA.S.D. UNINT SPORT The men's team will participate in the federal Serie D five-a-side football championship, with a squad made up mainly of UNINT students.
This step marks an important development in the University's sports program, strengthening the link between the university and amateur levels and offering students the opportunity to pursue competitive sports.
