The Research and International Projects Office (alternatively: Technical-administrative staff in the research and international projects area) carry out promotion and dissemination of opportunities to access competitive research funding. To this end, teaching staff and researchers at the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT) are offered a targeted information service on available funding opportunities and project management.

The service consists of three different stages: targeted information, design and project management, and expense reporting.

Targeted information

Teaching staff and researchers can benefit from e-mail alerts for funding opportunities that align with the university's research interests. They may also report to the Research and International Projects Office (alternatively: to the technical-administrative staff of the research and international projects area) calls that appear to be of particular interest, for the purpose of verifying participation requirements.

Design

Once the teaching staff member/researcher expresses his/her willingness to participate in a call, the Research and International Projects Office (alternatively: the technical-administrative staff of the research and international projects area) are available to provide support in preparing the project proposal. This support consists, primarily, of complete and thorough study of the notice and retrieval of the administrative data required for participation.

The teacher/researcher is also offered assistance in the economic planning of resources so that the budget is balanced and consistent with the activities in the project proposal.

In the event of a positive evaluation of the proposal, the office (alternatively: area staff) offers its assistance in managing relations with the funding agency, completing forms, as well as preparing and reviewing the deeds necessary to implement the project.

Project management and expense reporting

The office (alternatively: area staff) provides support in the proper handling of administrative and financial deeds and assists the teacher/researcher in the financial reporting of the project.
