Outgoing student exchange participants
Starting from their first year of study, UNINT students have the opportunity to embark on a study abroad experience at a university that is affiliated with the Erasmus+ programme or is a partner institution of UNINT. During this period, students can attend classes at the host institution and sit their exams there.
Duration of exchange: two to 12 months per degree programme. Students can complete one study abroad programme and one internship placement in the same year. The only requirement is not to exceed a combined total of 12 months of study abroad/placement per degree programme.

The Student Exchange and International Relations Office (UMRI) arranges meetings ahead of placement announcements and address any inquiries students may have regarding the application process, including guidance on how to complete and submit the application accurately.

Internship placements
UNINT students have the opportunity to undertake internships in Erasmus+ programme countries or partner countries starting from their first year of study. This also includes working as a teaching assistant or research assistant at any relevant research facility.
Duration of placement: two to 12 months in any field of study. Students can complete a student exchange programme and internship placement in the same year. The only requirement is not to exceed a combined total of 12 months of student exchange/placement per degree programme.

Supporting Italian students abroad
International student exchanges are a time of growth for students and an important component of their university journey. To facilitate its fruition, the Student Exchange and International Relations Office (UMRI) is at the disposal of students in both the preparatory stage and while they are abroad.
During their stay abroad, UNINT students can contact the office and the academic student exchange coordinators selected by the faculties for any necessary support.
