Eduroam

The University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT has joined the international federation of universities and research bodies eduroam (Education Roaming).

Thanks to this federation, when one of our users (enrolled student, teaching or technical-administrative staff) goes to another university or federated body, they will be able to use that body's wireless service by connecting to the "eduroam" network using the same credentials to access the UNINT wi-fi network.

Even guests who belong to institutions belonging to the federation and who come to our university will be able to access the "eduroam" wireless network using the credentials they would use in their own institution and which they will eventually have to refer to to obtain access instructions.

If you want to configure manually, below is the information necessary for connection:

  • EAP method: TTLS;
  • phase two authentication: MSCHAPv2;
  • CA certificate: do not validate;
  • anonymous identityanonymous@unint.eu (this user is mandatory for our institution. If the anonymous identity field is not present, manual configuration is not possible);
  • identity: your username for accessing MYUNINT, printers, university PCs (generally surname no.);
  • Password: your password.
