Interlibrary loan

Incoming

With the interlibrary loan service (ILL, InterLibrary Loan), UNINT teachers, students and technical-administrative staff can request documents not present in the University library, but owned in paper format by libraries, cultural and research bodies active in Italy . Any reimbursement costs due to the lending library are the responsibility of the user. The interlibrary loan request must be sent via e-mail to the address biblio@unint.eu, with indications as detailed as possible of the desired document and the full name of the applicant. Once the material is available on site, the user will be informed by the staff via e-mail. Normally a text received on interlibrary loan can be consulted for 2 weeks, exceptions may sometimes be set by the lending library. Given the consultation times, it is advisable to request a maximum of 4 documents at a time. Being interlibrary, it is the responsibility of the UNINT library to return the material to the lending library.

Output

Member since 2007 of SBN with the IEI/cultural institutes of Rome hub, active in the ESSPER project, present in ACNP, the UNINT library makes its assets available to libraries that request them, operating at present under a free reciprocity regime. Requests, complete with the data of the requesting library and the desired document, must be sent via e-mail to the address biblio@unint.eu. Certain categories of documents, such as textbooks, publications that are frequently consulted or whose condition does not recommend sending them, are excluded from interlibrary loan.
