Description

Mindfulness, defined as the ability to be aware of the present moment without judgment, has been shown to have significant positive effects on psychological well-being, especially in academic settings. Numerous scientific studies have shown that regular mindfulness practice can help improve concentration, stress management, and quality of life—critical aspects for students immersed in academia. People who practice mindfulness often report a greater ability to cope with stressful situations and improve interpersonal relationships. In this context, therefore, mindfulness can promote a better psychological state for both students and all stakeholders.
We therefore propose a series of weekly meetings on the topic, which can introduce people interested in mindfulness and provide practical tools and meditation techniques useful for managing stress and emotions in everyday life.
These brief sessions are in no way intended to be clinical or psychotherapeutic, as the context and modality are not appropriate for this type of intervention. The primary purpose is to inform people, raise their awareness, and provide a series of tools to experiment with to improve their daily well-being.

Participation

The meetings, open to all, will be held exclusively in person.
