The International University of Rome – UNINT, in collaboration with the 16th edition of the Festival of Diplomacy, hosts the conference entitled “The Value of Scientific Diplomacy.”
The event, part of UNINT's third mission/social impact activities, will be held on October 22, 2025, starting at 14:00 PM in the master classroom and livestreamed.
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, science diplomacy plays a crucial role in promoting international cooperation to address global challenges such as climate change, pandemics, food security, and technological innovation. It bridges the gap between the scientific community and political institutions, fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the development of shared solutions.
Science diplomacy enables countries to overcome political and cultural barriers through collaboration on research projects, educational programs, and sustainable development initiatives. It also strengthens nations' ability to respond in a coordinated manner to global emergencies and develop evidence-based policies.
In an era where science plays a central role in strategic decisions, enhancing and strengthening science diplomacy means investing in peace, security, and shared progress.
