Fundraiser UNINT vs COVID-19
Following the current national health emergency, Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma – UNINT launched a fundraising campaign. The profits are donated to Istituto Nazionale Malattie Infettive “Lazzaro Spallanzani” of Rome and are aimed at: purchasing medical equipment for diagnosis and patient assistance; providing medical supplies to the healthcare professionals who are on the front line in the fight against the virus.
The fundraiser serves as a tangible support against the disease. In the difficult situation we are facing, large and small donations can make the difference and save a life.
Istituto Nazionale Malattie Infettive “Lazzaro Spallanzani" is an excellence in the Italian healthcare system. It has always been at the forefront in the fight against infectious diseases and now it can rely on one more ally to tackle the Coronavirus epidemy, namely Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma – UNINT. Our university has always been committed to the development and spread of culture, sciences and education.
The fundraiser idea came from our students: “We can be determining: a responsible approach and a small donation can really make the difference. It’s so easy. Together we can go through this”. With these words, they urged the academic community – teaching staff, students, and technical and administrative staff – to make their own contribution, be it large or small, by donating in support of the Istituto Spallanzani.
