Scholarships and financial aid a.y. 2024/2025

Merit in study is the basis of the system for determining tuition fees provides scholarships reserved for the ten most deserving students for each year of each degree course (top 10) based on the results of the previous year.

The scholarships include a reduction in the first year tuition fee three-year degree courses to those enrolled with a high school diploma grade of 90 to 100 and a reduction in the fee for the second and/or third year provided that they are among the ten most deserving students in terms of average, number of exams and international experiences of the degree course in which they are enrolled for each year (Top 10). A further requirement to benefit from the benefit in the years following the first, as an alternative to the "Top 10" benefit, is:

  • for the second year: having obtained a final exam grade between 90 and 100 and having achieved by September of the academic year. previous 50 CFU
  • for the third year: having obtained a final exam grade between 90 and 100 and having achieved by September of the academic year. previous 100 CFU

 

Subscribers to master's degree courses LM-52, LM-77 and LM-94 benefit from a reduction in the first year tuition fee provided they have obtained a grade between 105 and 110 at the three-year degree. This reduction for the first year of the course also applies to all those enrolled who have attended a three-year degree course at UNINT.
The scholarships also provide that the ten most deserving students in terms of average, number of exams and international experiences (Top 10) for the above-mentioned master's degree courses will receive a reduction in the second year fee.

In order to contribute to the valorisation of young excellences and to participate in the process of social and cultural advancement of our country, the University of International Studies of Rome - UNINT promotes a dynamic dimension of studies and issues these notices for the assignment of scholarships intended for students who have achieved good results in school and who have simultaneously acquired transversal skills by resourcefully expressing their talent thanks to significant extracurricular experiences.

The fields of activity that will be examined for the purposes of this selection to evaluate the extracurricular merit background of the candidates are: volunteering, environmental sustainability, innovation, solidarity, social inclusion, participation in democratic life, sport practiced at a competitive level during studies and art in its various forms of expression.

All scholarships are renewable for the years following the first on the condition that merit in university studies continues to be accompanied by constant commitment to the extracurricular activities on the basis of which the selection was made.

The scholarships consist of the assignment of partial exemptions of the value of 50% of the standard fee due for enrollment in the 2024/2025 academic year in the first year of the chosen three-year degree course (L-12, L-18 and L-36).

Documentation

The students of three-year and master's degree courses, the learners of master and research doctorates and students Erasmus UNINT who wish to do so will be able to contribute to the independent financing of their studies with the “Merit” loan thanks to the agreement stipulated with Intesa Sanpaolo, which provides favorable conditions subject to an exclusively meritocratic evaluation.

UNINT students and those who want to attend post-baccalaureate studies can count on financial support of up to €50.000 designed by Intesa Sanpaolo to allow them to expand their skills.

“per Merit” is a loan that any student resident in Italy can obtain on the sole condition of being in compliance with the chosen study path and does not require any guarantee.

“per Merit” allows you to cover registration fees, the purchase of teaching materials, accommodation costs and everything necessary to face your studies with peace of mind.

At the end of your studies you can activate a “bridge period” of maximum 24 months, during which the student will not yet have to return anything.

The repayment can take place in a single solution or with a personal loan with a maximum duration of 30 years. In the event of early repayment there are no additional costs.

Il rate is fixed and defined at the time of the request.

All interest is paid by Intesa Sanpaolo to the Fund for Impact, the fund created for categories with difficulty accessing credit.

How to apply for the loan

  • The request must be made directly online by accessing the following link;
  • the student must register, check the access requirements and proceed with the activation of the request;
  • at the time of entering the data you must already be regularly enrolled in a degree, master's or PhD course;
  • you will consequently choose the type of financing best suited to your needs. For those who enroll in a three-year degree course, it is advisable to choose a five-year loan which also includes the possibility of continuing their studies with a master's course. If you do not wish to continue your studies at the end of the three-year period, you can interrupt and remodulate the financing;
  • the admission and maintenance requirements are illustrated in the dedicated document guide;
  • when the request, having verified the requirements, is accepted, the student will receive a code with which to go to an Intesa Sanpaolo branch of his choice to open an account where the tranches of the loan will be disbursed.

Il right to study manages scholarships and other concessions in favor of deserving students in particular economic conditions and offers assistance to students with disabilities, facilitating their teaching activities through tutors and special technical supports.

Access to the benefits provided by the right to study occurs through participation in the scholarship competition in collaboration with Lazio DiSCo. The call for applications usually opens in the summer period and the application can be submitted exclusively online. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on the location status of the student in the competition phase. The off-site status, to be considered as such, must be demonstrated through a regular rental contract with a minimum duration of ten months.
