The Juvenile Deviance program of the Master's Degree in Psychology of Learning and Inclusion Processes (LM-51) trains graduates qualified to practice as psychologists, equipped with solid theoretical and methodological skills for understanding, assessing, and designing interventions in contexts of psychosocial vulnerability and developmental deviance. The program represents an advanced qualification opportunity for professionals capable of working in educational, social, and healthcare systems, integrating psychological, educational, and institutional perspectives into a systemic understanding of juvenile distress.

The training program focuses on developmental, educational, and clinical psychology, with a particular focus on risk and protection processes, the prevention of deviance, and the promotion of well-being. In addition to these areas, transversal skills in general, social, and community psychology are developed, fostering interdisciplinary training aimed at comprehensive child care.

Psychologists trained in this area are expected to work collaboratively with schools, families, community services, and the juvenile justice system, contributing to the development of personalized educational programs, the prevention of hardship, and social reintegration. The training aims to develop skills in integrated psychosocial assessment, individualized educational planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork, with a focus on social responsibility and inclusion.

Among the most relevant training activities of the Course are the 20 CFU practical-evaluative internship, aimed at acquiring operational skills in educational and social-healthcare settings. The training program is also enhanced by application laboratories and innovative teaching methodologies.
