2. Initial preparation verification test
Together with the admission qualification, which must be obtained by July 31, 2025, enrollment in the degree course is subject to a test to verify the initial requirements. The test is not selective, but is aimed solely at verifying personal skills, in order to allow the optimal insertion of students into the study path. Only in the event that the available places are exhausted will a ranking be drawn up for the assignment of the remaining places based on the test results, as specified in the following art. 4.
The verification test can be taken in person or remotely on one of the following dates:
- February 26, 2025 | 14pm

The test results will be communicated to candidates within three working days from the date of the tests.

3. Characteristics of the initial preparation verification test and how it is carried out
The initial preparation verification test can be taken in person at the headquarters of the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT) located in Rome in via C. Colombo 200 or remotely. The examining commission is composed of a minimum of 3 members, chosen from among the teaching and research staff of UNINT.
The test has a total duration of 75 minutes and consists of 30 multiple choice questions, from which only one correct answer must be selected. The questions will cover the following areas:
- Logic: 10 questions;
- General knowledge: 10 questions;
- English: 10 questions.
On the web page of the Bachelor's Degree courses it is possible to run a simulation.
To take the test, candidates must present themselves in the assigned classroom at UNINT or connect online 30 minutes before the start time, with a valid identification document. Each candidate will be assigned an identification code to be used to verify their position in the possible ranking referred to in art. 4 of this regulation, in compliance with the privacy legislation.
Access to the test is not permitted to those who are not included in the final list of candidates admitted to take the test. Candidates who, for any reason, are absent from the test after the closure of the recognition operations are considered to have withdrawn.
To take the test remotely via Zoom, the following technical requirements are necessary:
- the computer or laptop must have a working webcam and microphone;
- the webcam and microphone must always be turned on and the computer screen must be shared when requested by the commissioners;
- stable internet connection.
Candidates must observe the following rules of conduct during the remote test:
- the test must be carried out in the absence of other people in a quiet and distraction-free environment;
- the use of notes, books, electronic devices other than those authorized is prohibited;
- During the test it is mandatory to remain visible on the webcam without wearing sunglasses, hats or headphones.
The examining commission ensures compliance with the provisions themselves and has the power to adopt all measures deemed appropriate in order to guarantee the correct conduct of the test.
4. Test results, OFA assignment and pre-registration and registration procedure
The test will be awarded a maximum of 30 points with 1 point for a correct answer and 0 points for a wrong answer. The outcome of the initial preparation test does not preclude in any case the possibility of enrolling in the course of study. In fact, it is aimed at facilitating inclusion in the educational path, allowing specific support activities to be organized for incoming students that highlight any gaps.
Candidates who obtain a score lower than 5/10 in the logic and English questions will be assigned Additional Learning Obligations (OFA) to be completed within the first year of the course.
