The only Faculty in Central and Southern Italy specialized in training interpreters and translators

UNINT prowess in the field of interpreting and translation hardly requires mention, the Faculty of Interpreting and Translation having been recognised internationally as one of the leading institutions in the field. CIUTI (Conférence Internationale Permanente des Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interprètes) is is the oldest international association promoting maximum quality in the training of translators and interpreters. EMT (European Master's in Translation) is a network that aims to establish a quality label for university translation programmes meeting agreed professional standards and market demands. UNINT is a member of both. In both cases membership requires meeting strict quality criteria tested in an exhaustive application process, and as such is an undisputed seal of quality.
The following languages are available: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.

The Master's Degree Programme is offered in Rome, at the main campus or at the satellite campus in Turin. In fact, the Faculty collaborates with the "Vittoria" High School for Language Mediators in Turin  for the joint implementation at its campus of the Master’s Degree Course in Interpreting and Translation (LM-94).

Thanks to this network, which also extends to public and private institutions and to numerous European and non-European universities, the Faculty of Interpreting and Translation can enhance its own teaching and research activities and focus on the future of its students and graduates by constantly organising professional internships and study periods abroad.
